We walked to viewpoint 3. Boat 100 baht per person each way. Nobody checked our national park tickets. Some parts not in shade so better to go early in morning or later in the afternoon. Good sea breeze though.

The water current in the morning is quite strong towards the west, so it was a bit challenging for us, but glad we still made it. Nice strand of rough sandy beach with clear water. Better wear shoes to walk around to avoid rough rocks and spiky plants. Waves are big in early December and the beach is steep, so look for for younger kids playing along the beach as the big wave might pull you down and fall into the deep water.

Beautiful can be reached from ko lipe in 15 minutes by boat very few people depopulated beaches (and already a few meters from the shore underwater you can enjoy a great show) especially without noise inside the pine forest and ancient trees on which you can find if you are lucky what would seem toucans. Above all cleanliness and no garbage and quite there is the possibility of staying in a bungalow or even in a tent.

You can access the island by boat (100bht/p) from Koh Lipe. Available bungalows managed by rangers. You can also rent tents. A very good and very affordable little restaurant, no grocery store. Very nice beach and beautiful corals. Two walking paths but very limited. We come here to enjoy the calm away from the crowds.
A single isolated resort also accessible only by boat. I don’t think you can access it from the ranger camp.
I would like everyone to try to walk up to Pha Cha Do, even though it’s tiring but it’s worth the walk up. 3 viewpoints up to capture all the pictures, it’s really beautiful.
It is advisable to apply sunscreen before going, wear a hat, put on a pair of sandals. carry empty water find a walking stick And I recommend going up before noon, otherwise you won’t be able to walk.
Koh Adang” is the location of the Tarutao National Park Protection Unit at Tor Tor 5 (Laem Son). There are no private accommodation on the island, there are only the National Park’s lodges and tent sites that have electricity to use. Go there! First we did the viewpoint walk. 3 very nice viewpoints on Koh Lipe. It is quite steep so get good shoes and a lot of water! Many lizards on the way. We have even seen monkeys. After the viewpoint hike we did the hike to the waterfall. A nice jungle trail. Took us around 1 hour to get to the waterfall and around 45 min. back to the ranger station. Have seen a Toucan on the way. Water was knee deep at the fall and nicely refreshing. Taxi boat was 100 baht per person one way.

Koh Adang is the location of the Tarutao National Park Protection Unit at Tambon T.5 (Laem Son-Koh Adang). Koh Adang has an area of approximately 30 square kilometers. It is an island with beautiful fine sandy beaches. Around the island there are many small islands such as Koh Lipe, Koh Dong, Koh Hin Ngam and Koh Yang, which are ideal for snorkeling. The general landscape is high mountains. There is a forest covered with green. There is a waterfall with water all year round is Pirate Falls.
Traveling: You can take a taxi from Lipe, 200 baht round trip, make an appointment with the boatman.

Magnificent island! I was vacationing on Ko Lipe and my friend advised me to take a ‘taxi boat’ to this island and go up to the observation deck, which offers a magnificent view of the island.
I recommend making this trip as early as possible (8:00-9:00). It’s not hot, few people and maybe they won’t charge you 200 baht (fee for visiting the reserve), they didn’t charge me, but my friend paid and said that the Thai driver’s license does not give a discount.
They bring you to one beach, and you will go back a little further. Round trip ticket 100 + 100 baht.
Be sure to bring water with you, I didn’t see any places to buy it.
