Nice little market which is not too crowded.
It’s a good place for night market walk and reasonable price for a good meal. The best part of it is it is not crowded !!
Nice market to look for reasonable priced stuff …
Good place for shopping at night ! They have many things start from 10 baht up. Some shop they have unique design and product …
Can and will get very busy here .this is a very large market with something for everyone. Great street food.
It’s okay, not crowded. Many varieties of foods, that make it hard to choose what food to eat…
Anusarn Market area is a great place to eat and drink and spend a whole evening being entertained. The range of food options is very wide at this market area, from cheap Thai food at the food court to more expensive sit down restaurants selling seafood, Western food, Indian, Middle Eastern and Italian dishes. There are live performances here to entertain you while you enjoy your street food and beer/drinks.
Good food. Good place to shop local stuff.
An interesting ‘swag’ (tourist stuff) night market. Some more interesting stalls, quite a bit of slightly better quality stuff too.
The usual range of food stalls. Bonuses include the ice cream being made for you on the cold plates as you watch.
Terrible, overpriced food, music is extremely loud. You’ll only see tourists here as its one of those “tourist traps” with low quality, higher priced foods. The trinkets for sale are from wholesalers that can be found in the other markets.
Good amount of selection to barter with, and great Thai food selection. The live music we saw was spectacular and we had a lot of fun for the evening
Nice market place for tourists. Lot of activities for everyone. Food was food too.
Massive market with some interesting goods on offer. The market is not fully stalled, as things are slowly getting busier and more stalls will open soon, but still worth a visit and great bargains to be found. Market has some restaurants and food stalls, as well as stalls in the road.
This market isn’t as fun as the Sunday Night Bazaar at Tha Pae but it has all the tourist souvenirs needed to make everyone happy. From fish spa to elephant pants, you name it, it’s got it. Prices quoted are nearly the base figure so be polite not pushy when you are trying to negotiate for the “best possible price”…oh, the restaurants here serve a wide variety of seafood, and the quality is pretty good.
Probably the best night/street market in Chiang Mai. Very happening and very multicultural crowd. Friendly sellers, open to fair negotiations/bargaining. It’s very versatile and colourful. (Refer. to pictures). Lots of clothing shops, handmade crafts, souvenir shops/stalls here. This is one of the most interesting street markets I’ve been to with a lot of variety.
It’s also decorated with very cute and bright lights all-around which adds up to the immersion and atmosphere.
It has a very nice street food thai food section aswell with heaps of stalls selling various kind of yummy food. Vegetarian options are not so many and make sure you mention no oyster sauce or egg if you are a vegetarian because in here egg/oyster sauce is not considered non-vegetarian like most south asian countries.
Highly recommended.
Good and cheap street massage. 180baht/1hr.
Great area for tourists. Lots of bars, restaurants and market stalls. You can get fried insects, etc. here
Great place to go as you visit the night bazar. Actually I thought this was part of the night bazar. Just feels like a continuity of it. They also have places to eat and packaged food items you might want to bring back.
Many shops back in action. The main thoroughfare is full of shops so is the food market. Cabaret show is back on. Worth a walk through. Plenty of parking.
We were very disappointed to see that the chiang mai night markets are very empty. It is sad what covid has caused to these people who rely entirely on tourists. However, Anusarn seemed 50% open with many shops highly discounted. Recommend everyone to visit, so things get back to normal soon !
Nice market for tourists with a lot of things to buy, bars with live music around. Good atmosphere. Also a lot of restaurants to try different dishes at.
Very nice place, but prices are much better on the weekends and vendors more likely to be more flexible with their bargaining prices.
Lots of food options here, as well as massage options. As always, the massage prices drop if you visit the smaller establishments.
The market opens at 6pm, but doesn’t start to get lively until around 8pm. If you have mobility issues, getting around may be challenging as the floor surfaces are usually uneven and the pathways narrow.
It’s definitely worth it to visit, even if you don’t buy much. There is a lot to see and do.
Nice shopping area, variety of food options. Reasonable prices and large variety of souvenirs and clothing! Live music in certain areas.
One of my favourite markets in Chiang Mai – tourist oriented, full of interesting stalls, and food/entertainment places
Cheap and delicious
Got 7-11 supermarkets fruit etc…
Tourist shopping with some great seafood. Many restaurant choices with fresh seafood being the star. Live shrimp, crabs, spiny lobster, clams, oyster etc!
Couldn’t find things u need
So delicious! This street food market is a must visit. They have so many scrumptious Thai dishes made right in front of your eyes. Don’t miss out on the glass noodle, pad Thai, and kho soi!
What was in your mind when you are at night market like this – Souvenirs, foods, clothing, massage, fruits, ice cream, pharmacy, bags, shoes etc
Big great market. The prices are sometimes a little bit high.
Usually visit after a dinner nearby, they have foot massages, fish spa, handmade products, dried fruits, live band, fried ice cream, seafood, halal food, western food, local food..all in all good place to visit and strolling if you are not in the mood to bargain for stuff. But there are many more night market springing up else where mostly food for local, so this place is definitely for tourist only.
Awesome market with a mix of old and New stalls plus 2 really cool bars to get food and hang out at.. Head to chonticha cafe for great food and even better cocktails!
another nite market in chiang mai within walking distance from anatara hotel. good chinese seafood restaurant there. the crab was yummy!
Great place to divert to, just off Night Bazaar
Alot of food and beverage (seafood, fruits, juice, Halal, desserts etc)within this compound, and it suits all ages. Great place to come and experience night market life. Take a rest at the local Thai foot massage parlours at the fringes of Anusarn market(200 baht an hour)if you’re tired.
Nice place for gifts and souvenir shopping. Lots of food options also.
Great food and service as well as a top shopping section with a couple of really nice tea shops.
Great place to be. Food is amazing.
Super fun to walk around and see all that’s being sold and haggle prices. You can find some pretty unique stuff. But be sure to get a fair price, another vendor a bit farther down may have the same items for cheaper. Lots of good food stalls options
You have to bargain
A great tourist spot. Don’t forget to try the juice available near the entrance. It’s trasty, fresh, and very affordable.
Good place to shop some local stuff and get cheap massage. They have a few restaurants there which I didn’t try
Loved the market wondered through it nighly
Nice market that sells everything and you can better the prices down. There’s also lots of places to eat and drink. Totally spoilt for choice on everything.
Great place to loiter, buy if you fancy and try the food if you get hungry or are just tempted. Prices reasonable.
Very tall market with a lot of options for shopping clothes and also many souvenirs. Big food market with nice live music and not too crowded. Only the stand owners are a little pushy and the prices are too high, but what else could you expect from a touristic destination…
This place is best night bazaar of chiang-mai. Here you can buy lots of clothes, souvenirs and paintings. Also they have a couple of restaurants inside for when you need a break or when you’re tired of waiting for your girlfriend to finish her shopping . You need stop for a special ice cream, that’s the only spoiler I’ll give you. …
Nice market though 90% of the stalls sell the same tourist stuff
There are a fair bit of variety of merchandise thus market sells, especially wood crafts and textiles.
Great place to eat, less crowded, less tourists
Great night market. In reality this is connected to several discrete markets that make up a pretty large area. Some are focused on food, others goods. A couple of them have live music playing. Highly recommended.
Great market, cheap prices in general and a wide variety of things to buy.
A beatiful sMiling people , tidy n clean. Congratulations
Foods, drinks, live music, almost everything that you want available
This is what a call a real market! Handmade stuff, great prices and cozy atmosphere!
Nice small small shops offering local items. Try to negotiate if you can
Good size market, not to crowded when we were there.
Tourist area
Great vast selection of clothes, art and food. Quite cheap too.

This is clean and fun night market. It is better than Old City Market, I thought. Because, This price is expensive than there but, This place is clean and a lots of stock like clothes, aroma goods(oil/soap), silver accessories, elephants goods etc. And here are a lots of good food corner so you can eat Padtai(noodle), Soup beef noodle, pork slice, Kebab etc. Here are many table for people using food corner. The usual price is 50-100bat for one dish.
But this cost is expensive than other market.
Because Here are many Good Hotel in chiangmai so this location cost is expensive than other location But It’s Not Big difference.
Not Big Deal Enjoy looking night market.
And Try some many good thaifood.

Very big and you can find whatever you want for self or gifts. Enjoyed our dinner. Cheap and clean …
Anusarn Market has a wide range of appliances, souvenirs, home decorations to choose from. There are many shopping options. There are also many dining zones. that can’t be missed Chiang Mai Cabaret Show which will entertain everyone every night.
A lot of type garments and products but the stalls are selling same products. Good for visits.
So happy to see tourist in this part of town again. Lots of visitors enjoying themselves. Live Music was everywhere and a favorite spot of mine, boys blues spot was jumping. Lots of shops with good products in abundance. Check out the graphic T’s and all of the great things, opened everynite. And check out the Artist, have a favored portrat painted or buy some wonderful art. Enjoy!!!
Brilliant place, great food and plenty of different things to buy
Great shopping, good food, amazing value all around
Nice market just east of the old town in Chiang Mai. You can find many things here from clothes, trinkets, lanterns and many more. They have a food stand section as well to purchase and drinks. Prices are good here for what you pay for
Mostly handicrafts are being sold here. There were minimal shoppers.
This is a nice little market that I enjoyed visiting very much during my visits. It is of course aimed at tourists not locals but I my opinion this is fine. If you end up haggling over prices smile and remember these people need cash much more than us tourists.
Lots of shopping for tourists. Prices are pretty standard. Last night, go there!
Great place to pick up great souvenirs. Nice street local foods.
Great night market with delicious food options
Just walked and looked around. Good for window-shopping and maybe you would like to buy a thing or two to take back home.
Stalls after stalls of goods for sales. Good thing after this market is that it is mostly under cover.
Good place for see after dinner..
So so many stalls to look at and some very talented craftsman, especially the man who makes handmade sewn baubles! The food area here is great too. Recommend for getting some souvenirs!
Good place with lots to see. Make sure you bargin and go late at night
Good place, the price is ok
Must go in Chiang Mai. It’s like, the best, a mega mall
Must visit , Atleast once .
A lot of fun and food. Great place to see lady boys if you really want to check them out.
A lot of different foods and entertainment. Not cheap, still okey prices..
A good place spending your night here. This night bazaar serves various thing to buy. For food lovers, there are many restaurant here
Cheap, lively food court. Plenty of choice. Very good
Very cool market experience, a good way to get into night markets.
Lots of people from around the world comes and have fun and eat together. The food is cheap and very tasty in my opinion. The amount of stuff you can pick and buy from the bazaar is just cherry on top of such a fun place.
Many foods and souvenirs you can buy in the market but must ask for discount
Fairly large, mix of food, clothes and souvenirs. You can walk undercover from one road to another and I believe this will also lead to the night market
A massive market with a good mix of shops, restaurants, a lady boy cabaret and a Muay Thai boxing ring
Nice place to walk around at night, buy some souvenirs and eat!
Here you can find anything and the vendors are not that push!
Only be aware that prices here are more expensive than in other markets in the city for clothes and food!
Good and cheap food inside .
The beautiful hilltribe cloth at Thongpua shop
Loved this market! We stumbled upon it unexpectedly and had the best time. Good quality clothing and bags, food was incredible and reasonably priced.
Though it is somewhat a tourist market, but it is still interesting to explore around the area.
Nice place to visit
Buying souvenirs and get local food.. Also nearby to high end restaurant like HardTock Cafe, Starbucks McD KFC etc
Good night market. Something to do and look at during a visit in Chiang Mai
Nice place you can find good food and enjoy shopping here . …
Kinda cool for daily market walk. But you will definitely get better prices at both sat and sunday night market area.
A good place to waste an hour or two browsing local handicrafts and tourist wares.
A nice area inside the Night Market that has pretty much everything Thailand. Also really good restaurants.
We went to this night market there the place is very nice we had waffles were hot with banana and Nutella fresh fruit smoothes were ok. I do recommend the vegetable wraps fresh and hot we will be back to try the fresh seafood all kinds. All the booths have fresh food cooked to order cold drinks are available beer coke ext… I recommend this there are now open every night now.
Good food, live music , chill vibes
Very nice festival and very good street food.
Great variety of shops and restaurants, seating indoor and outdoor. Can easily spend hours here. Come to shop, stay for the food!
you can shopping everything at here and have dinner with nice live music…
The place is full of people, but the foods, from main dishes to desserts, are cheap and tasty. I bought a portion of mango sticky rice, and it is my favorite Thai dessert.
The best place walking street at Chiang mai
One of the great night markets in Thailand. You must visit it to believe it!
Anusarn has really become the best place in the Night Bazaar for tourists to visit. Over recent years it has become very well laid out, and 90% under cover when it rains.
A great range of tourist stalls and restaurants to choose from. If you have limited time and only visit one market in Chiang Mai, make it this one.
Good variety. Prices are higher as it attracts tourists. The dish I ordered was 30-40% higher than neighborhood restaurants (of course this only translates to $1 – $2 US dollar difference).
Come for a great range of food, primarily good quality seafood is the draw here for the Chinese especially. Not the cheapest in seafood prices around CM but a good range of the usual Thai fare at good prices. Rents are high here so beer is also more than elsewhere. Some kitch market wares for sale too, pretty much the standard tourist fare. Well worth a visit tho, go see the Cabaret at 9.30pm, it’s cheap at 350baht (Jan 2018)
Another big market area, kind of like the rest. There’s nothing super special about this one, but if you’re around it, you should go. There’s always deals and good street food everywhere. Try to haggle everytime because you can always knock the price down by a bit here and there.
This is an awesome market, way bigger than it looks, and has tons of great food options . I would also recommend go to the night Bazaar and checking out the underground art shops, Amazing art, and you can have a photograph replicated by hand
Gray place to walk around and is great if it is training asd it is covered. Just a little humid asd the roof holds the heart and humidity in. Otherwise, nice choice of product and the stall owners are not pushy trying to get you to buy.
The first time I visited Chiang Mai, I had no clue that night markets were practically everywhere, and was recommended this one in particular, and up to this day, I think this is one of the better ones when it comes to location, selection of items for sale (with souvenirs, clothing, personal effects, leather ware, and even aromatherapy and candles), and convenience as it houses restaurants and a cabaret within the compound.
Lots of little booths to buy interesting souvenirs.
The food market had lots of options. Most are very affordable if you keep things simple. Make sure you bring your own paper towels . …
Awesome place to stop during the journey for a quick break and some small shopping
Lovely market nice decor
Good fun. Lots of shopping options, a singa long show, somewhere to get your nails done, food, and art
This market is open at night time and you can buy a lot of locals handmade product .
Very nice , convenience night market ….
They got live band , nice restaurant in reasonable price , lot’s of souvenir and clothing stall ….must go and check it out .
This is the better of the night markets on the street if you are looking for souvenirs, as they got a whole range of them. You will see the same stuff on the sunday walking street for instance, but nice to check out
Not as buzzy as before. Nothing much… Opening hrs not as stated. With heavy pouring down roads were flooded. Disappointed.
Lots of good seafood stalls. Live music from a very young talented lady
Great Pizza & Western food. Nice for families
Very quiet at the moment, not many touristsin Chiang Mai.
A lot off bars. But open and very concentrated. But all bars play music, so when you sit outside, you hear 3 different songs simultaneously. But cosy.
Such a huge night market with interesting items, delicious local food and entertainment
Great place for tourists to grab dinner or buy local goods. It’s definitely sanitized/aimed at tourists, but the food is great (and only slightly more expensive than street stalls, still very reasonable). It’s well-organized (both goods and food area) and clean.
Loads of great food options at decent prices, many touristy trinkets and things to buy if that’s your thing, usually music playing somewhere…great vibe
Nice market, many things to shopping and enjoying eating
Nice market at night.. we enjoyed music at the Knockout cafe out there along with some beer
Great night market, plenty of stuff to choose from, there’s food and massage (didn’t eat, or use), prices are better than on main night market.
was nice place wide variety of stores from clothing, food and souvenirs i love the food most! recommended place if you will go to chiangmai very near our hotel just walking distance
Exciting place in chiang mai in night
Worth to visit if you are in Chiang Mai.
There’s no doubt the street food is set up for tourists, but that doesn’t change how pleasant an evening can be had just sitting in the chill bar and slowly eating and drinking the night away. Great atmosphere and a fantastic place to get your night started before heading elsewhere in the area.
You can spend your money with cheapest price..so many option to buy locally traditional Thailand goods… Food also okay..
Nice lively and well organized market, also clean and alot going on with locals, prices are fair, and you can find almost anything, the place is cover so no worries about a rain or drizzle, good selection of foods and few bars with decent drinks and view of people walking, restrooms are alright, it has a good vibe to shop and eat all in one.
Best market of thailand
Rather quiet, but had quite a good amount of snacks. Can go around bargaining.
Food area was large and you can sit and order from multiple stalls. Food was alright, but I think it’s tamed to suit the tourist palette.
Enjoyed the desserts and the ladyboys most.
Must visit if you are in Chiang Mai. Good place to understand culture and buying souvenir.
Lively place
Thy the Thai rolled ice tea there. Excellent. Also nice in that it’s a bit less crowded than the street at night.
Huge market with lots of goodies. Bars and live music. Correct pricing Great atmosphere!
Great open air market at the end with individual stores that sells lovely individually cooked local favourites like Tom Yum, Phad Thai etc. There was even a live 2- piece band that played violin and guitar.
It’s a great place for tourists. Recommended. Suggest to stay around this area cos near to the night bazaar. Lots of restaurant and convince for Muslim. There’s a mosque nearby and can find halal restaurant in the night bazaar itself.
Must visit here! Best food court ever!
Great place. Shopping with 2 pub blasting out music as well.
Good varieties in shopping and food department. Live music, cheap food and here. Not a bad place to hang out however Orbison not as cool as the other markets. This one is more down to earth.
Big market and many store. We can find anything from meal until massage. The price is little bit high than chiang rai, but this place is good. Spend about 2 hours and half in this place doesn’t make us boring. Food is great, dessert also, many souvenir, lot of beverages. No smoking in this area, even there’s many club inside. We can accessed by public bus, or walking from the hotel. After midnight only few store still opened, but after 2 am, all closed.
Glad to see the market up and running again albeit with less tourist which was great to have a proper look around. …
A really, really nice place. We only came for an evening snack and a cold beer and ended up ordering this massive seafood platter from a great cook. Set us back 600 Baht but was worth every penny – highly recommended!
Fab night market and street food court.
It’s a Tuesday night in September 2022 and while it’s not unpleasantly busy, it’s definitely on its way to a healthy post-Covid recovery. All the food stands are doing good business and there is a surprisingly good live musician.
There’s lots of variety of food and the standards are as you’d expect (tasty, but not likely to win any awards!). And of course there is the obligatory beer stand!
What’s not to like?
must visit place.
there are things to spend ur money here. expect food, everytime u purchase dont forget to bargain for 40-50% off.
Plenty of places to buy food and clothes. Also a lot of stuff is probably never even think about buying!
Must see place in Chiang Mai. You may taste a lot of authentic food, see cool handmade things, find some attractions. Very cool place to spend time!
Many food stores but not crowded with tourists
There are very nice kebab food
Very good market almost everything you need is here. Very good price and fresh vegetables and fruits. They have fish and meat also.
Great market. Variety of wares that are not all mass produced. Great for local goods and LOTS of food
Nice place to go and cheaper then other markets
Cool place with great food and well priced goods. I really enjoy a stroll thru and grabbing a bite of fresh seafood.
This market place is a must visit place in Chiang Mai. Enjoy shopping and Thai food. Always bargain when you buy something. Ensure you stop by a small bar called Bamboo. The owner is a lovely thai lady, beer is like 90 bahts and they have nice live music. Very safe location but always protect your belongings for potential pick pocleting.
Must come have a visit lot of things, foods, bar. Very happening place. Worth to come.
A must visit market. Lots of stalls to explore especially for sourveniers. Getting to and from Anusarn market is relatively easy as many public transport available nearby. Also, walking distance to other bazaars.
Love this place! Wonderful night market!
Chick night market with lots of goodies
Nice place to buy some souvenir. Many handcrafted goods. You can shop in here even though is raining.
Very local. But if you are not local, need to be careful with price and quality of items. They are not cheating but you may get less fresh
Slowly coming back to life after Covid great food many bargains
HUGE market with so many shops. You can pick up and souvenirs you’d like here. Lots of options for food as well, and many massage places in the immediate area. Worth a trip just to look around.
Fun place to go shopping. Vendors are courteous and not too pushy. A lot of the stuff sold is kitschy junk but tourists can find decent souvenirs.
Right place to buy something fron there. You can find Thai food and so many things that we can buy nice place to killing the time and walking around! If you are muslim and want to live nearby this place just live in halal street nearby hidayatul Islam mosque.
Great food here, especially the khao soi. Mango sticky rice was a little too sweet.
Good place to go for local culture. You’ll find souvenirs, plenty of local crafts and food in the area. Tuktuks abound if your hotel is not walking distance from the market. If you get tired wandering around, you can choose from dozens of places offering Thai massage, foot spa, ETC. and sit for a spell. I saw a lot of Chinese going crazy over durian chips, which are dehydrated durian fruit. I bought some for the folks back home. Most everybody can understand and speak a bit of English.
all shops closed, will check night time
Various of delicious foods available here.
Big market with a wide choice of products and foods. At least 2 evenings to view properly this evening and night market. Very popular with tourists. However you need to haggle and bargain with stall and street holders though!
Today did a check on the situation on the market. It is still very quiet. About half of the stalls are open, but only few tourists around
Nearly all cafes/bars/restaurants still closed.
Great place for all kinds of things. food to nic nac’s
Busy, lively and safe! Loved the experience!
Beautiful night market where you can find almost anything …
Lots of food, shopping and massage shops in this area.
Prices are reasonable and provides us with some haggling action.
Enjoyed the evening out.
Nice market. Not so many people here in July, it was pretty peaceful. Good variety of food and clothing.
Great place to chill, eat and drink
Specialised shop for people interested in all kinds of martial arts not only Thai traditional ones but other oriental ones also Popular mainly with the domestic market and kickboxing devotees
Good place to dinner
Nice covered market, food, clean enough. Didn’t really need to haggle too much, and pricing was straight forward. Most vendors were pretty nice as compared to other local street side vendors.
Nice bars and Restaurants. Good view and good service. Not expensive.
Good Sea food and lots of lots awesome menus there, try it once before leaving.
Great market with good food options and shopping for Nik Naks.
Noce viewing from this place..
Good shopping and wonderful dinner!!
A popular tourist spot. Entertainment, food dining, souvenir, local products and many more you can bought here. Fresh fruits, fruits juice, halal food also can get here. Massage, restaurant and bar inside here too. A must visit to bring back something from here.
Tourist trap, very few local souvenirs. But easy place for dining!
If looking for alternative place try the Gulf Restaurant, best Lebanese I had so far!
Just another bar area much the same as any other bar area in Thailand. Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, wherever, the formula is always the same, dimly lit beer bars full of unattractive village girls prostituting themselves to foreigners. Mixed in amongst the bars are also all the other standard offerings such as tattoo shops, massage, and trinket sellers. Seen it once, seen it enough. Most of it is a just a scam with substandard service. You can get better food and cheaper beers at the night markets.
Nice market just east of the old town in Chiang Mai. You can find many things here from clothes, trinkets, lanterns and many more. They have a food stand section as well to purchase and drinks. Prices are good here for what you pay for
A good market if you wanted to buy a suvinire that is hand made. Also there is a stage where they usually have a show in the evening.
Nice little market, chilled out vibe but lots of options for food and souvenirs. Prices may vary but you can always haggle down. Music was good, there is usually someone singing live and they do good covers of modern pop songs. Up the road are more markets to see so worth popping in.
Super overpriced!!!!!! (Food and shopping both) almost double prices compared to the other markets I guess…. Clean and neat inside tho.
Nice place to go shopping in cheap prices(everything is negotiable), live music bars and unique clothes
Nice tourist market.
